The Art of Being Cool

Seed of the Week: Donate a fan to a family and/or shelter in need.

Good morning from the Project Grow 365, Inc. Team! We hope that your week is going well and that you are very productive in your endeavors. With summer in full swing, let's get in gear to continue making positive changes/progressions in our lives and the lives of those around us. Stay active!

If this is your first time to the site, welcome! We always enjoy making new friends, so come on in and make yourself right at home. Take a look around the site and see some of our other seed ideas; you'll also find in our Spotlight section other organizations that we have chosen to highlight for you to connect with. If you'd like to stay in touch with our project, feel free to subscribe to our blog in the "You've Got Mail!" section by entering your e-mail. As our promise to you, we won't send you any spam mail or junk mail, only updates to our operation. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
It's the summer time! The thoughts of school being out fill the minds of children, holidays with fireworks, amusement parks with tall water slides, gatherings around the grill for tasty food, and general outdoor fun all abound. You know who else has invited themselves to this feast of fun and food? Our friendly "neighbor" the sun! And when the sun shows up in the summer, it usually shows up in a major way! (We hope you don't start to sweat just thinking about it while reading this.)

While many of us can take refuge from the sweltering heat indoors thanks to air conditioning, there are still a great number of people who do not have such amenities to aid them in the summer. Imagine having to deal with the unbearable warm temperatures and having no reprieve from them. In areas where there is high levels of humidity, even the wind only stirs up warm air to blow through raised windows.

For our seed idea this week (and any time going forward that you can), we'd like for you to donate a fan to a family in need, or to a shelter than can distribute them appropriately if you do not know anyone directly. This is the art of being cool...not in what we can do to impress others, but in how we can help those in need around us.

Please feel free to contact us at oneseed365@gmail.com with any stories of how you were able to help others in this effort, or if you have any questions about Project Grow 365, Inc. As always, thanks for helping us change the world, one seed at a time.

-The Project Grow 365, Inc. Team
